Whats news:  Updated and new technical data, now readily available on our website.
Last month saw the addition of more than 30 technical data-sheets added to our website  www.entechelectronics.com.au.  Technical data of our most popular PCB laminates, conductive inks, membrane switch laminates and more are now easily accessible in one location.

Click here to jump to membrane switch and overlay material data-sheets.

Whats news:  New factory equipment.

Both of our assembly factories are getting a boost in capability this month.  Our 100% Australian owned factory in Ping-Shan, is about to get a capacity boost thanks to two new high speed chip placers. These two new machines will more than double our throughput in that facility. Not only are the machines faster, they are also more accurate, increasing placement repeatability by more than 55%.

The Adelaide plant is about to take delivery of a new AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) machine. Due to arrive any day now, Adelaide will now enjoy two dedicated AOI machines running simultaneously, increasing throughput and yield.

So what makes Entech different?
The above question is one I hear a lot when speaking to our customers. Although it is easy to answer, there are so many things that make us different from our competitors I could talk all day.

However, here are some quick examples,
  • Entech have overPCBs multicolour 130 staff located in Adelaide,
  • Over 115 staff located in China,
  • Our factory in China 100% owned by Entech in Australia,
  • Engineers and purchasing staff in both locations,
  • In house CAD engineers for our PCB service,
  • Warehousing and VMI facilities available to you,

On the topic of PCBs, I believe our PCB service is the only service offered in Australia and New Zealand that has our own staff located in China, performing CAD work for our clients. This important step adds yet another layer of security to your IP as no actual design files go direct to the PCB factory, just gerbers and drill files. Our factories don't even know who the end client is unless our client has asked to be recognized.

Custom LCDs: A low cost, effective way to enhance your product aesthetically and functionally.
A custom LCD could be just the thing to make your prodLCDuct stick out from the crowd.  A custom LCD also makes economic sense, as unit pricing is more often than not, cheaper than a generic display and MOQs are now much smaller than they used to be.  Tooling for passive  LCD's start from as low as $600USD and heads upward from there depending on the the crystal/fluid type and driver technology you require.  To get an accurate quote on your requirements, or to get help with an LCD for your next product, drop our service department an email on: sales@ecg.entechgroup.net  and they will get back to you to discuss your needs.
