Solder Paste Stencils... are you paying too much?
At Entech we have been manufacturing stencils for almost as long as we have been making circuit boards.  For many years we provided all types of stencils in stainless steel and brass.

Today with component sizes decreasing, and the demand for quality stencils being higher than ever, Entech has standardised on laser cut electrolys polished stainless steel stencils.

These stencils are the best quality money can buy, at a price you won't believe.  The stencils are available in your choice of thickness and in plate form, quick snap frames of mounted in rigid frames.  To discuss your needs, and get a price specific for your application just call your customer service person on:

Whats news:  China Factory Expansion - including certification

Entech Electronics Shenzhen factory has recently expanded to include the provision of complete PCBA services.

For the first 18 months of it's operations in China, the factory performed all materials procurement functions and the turnkey product assembly of finished goods.

Our factory growth has seen extensive efforts required in the sourcing of plastics, metalwork, LCD, Wire and cable looms as well as many other products directly from Main land China sources.  PCBA's that were used during that time were either manufactured in our Australian CM plant, or subcontracted to local CM's in China.

The completion of the final stage of the factory implementation, now including PCBA, will usher  in a new chapter for Entech, as well as many of our larger USA based clients, whom we have not been able to offer this service to in the past.

The first week of Novemebr saw ISO:9001/2008 external auditing by SAI Global.  The company quality manual and processes in Pingshan have been greatly derived from Entech's mature systems in Australia and we are happy to say the new PCBA plant and processes passed first time.

If you have a product requirement, be it in small or large volume, please feel free to contact your relevant sales representative on:

Australia: sales@eem.entechgroup.net
USA:       service@entechelectronics.us
China:     sales@entechelectronics.hk

and they will be only to happy to quote your requirements.
ASC customer and product profile
ASC article
ASC Limited was set up over 20 years ago to establish a key Australian defence capability based around the design, manufacture and delivery of the Royal Australian Navy fleet of Collins Class submarines.

ASC more recently secured a through life support contract for the ongoing maintenance and support of the submarines and accordingly the focus has now shifted toward fleet upgrading and modernisation.
As part of this ongoing upgrade program, ASC required new visual display units (VDU) to be developed to replace an existing CRT based technology that was becoming difficult and un-economical to maintain.
The replacement unit had to be a direct "drop in" replacement for the existing VDU, meeting all the stringent functional, performance and  environmental requirements associated with Submarines.

Entech utilised its in-house mechanical design, electronic design and systems development expertise to formulate a solution that met the requirements of ASC and the Royal Australian Navy.
The solution was based around state of the art LCD display technologies combined with a  billet aluminium machined enclosure.  The machined enclosure ensured a rugged design that was well suited to a Naval environment.
The new display panels will be progressively deployed across the Collins Class fleet in the coming months, providing the Navy with a greatly enhanced visual display capability at the various operator console positions at which they are fitted.

Custom LCD: Does your product have the look?
A custom LCD could be just the thing to make your product stick out from the crowd.  A custom LCD also makes economic sense, as unit pricing is more often than not, cheaper than a generic display of the same size and drive technology.  Tooling for passive  LCD's start from as low as $600USD and head upwards from there depending on the the crystal/fluid type and driver technology you require.  To get an accurate quote on your requirements, or to get help with an LCD for your next product, drop our engineer department an email on: eeos@eem.entechgroup.net  and they will get back to you to discuss your needs.
Next Month: Ingenium Technologies
